Side Projects Beyond Healthcare

Healthcare remains our primary focus, but we also accept suitable side projects from individuals and organisations in other sectors. These may include websites, applications, consultations, project management, and the assessment or repair of electrical appliances and electronic devices. Each request is evaluated individually for safety, feasibility, parts availability, scope and fit before we commit to the work.

Our Delivery Roadmap

From the Initial Challenge to a Measurable Outcome

Consulting, project delivery and selected side projects follow a clear process that aligns scope, resources, collaboration, payments and handover.

  1. 01

    Discovery & Problem Definition

You explain the challenge, current environment, desired outcome, stakeholders, timeline and constraints. For repair work, we also collect device, condition and fault information.

  2. 02

    Assessment & Recommended Approach

We assess feasibility, risk, required expertise and the most practical delivery method. Where useful, this includes a diagnostic session, preliminary review or clarification workshop.

  3. 03

    Proposal, Deposit & Scheduling

We provide the proposed scope, deliverables, responsibilities, timing and commercial terms. A suitable deposit or first scheduled payment activates the engagement and secures the required resources.

  4. 04

    Delivery & Collaboration

We perform the agreed consultation, planning, management, technical or repair work. Progress is communicated clearly, and decisions or material changes are documented and approved.

  5. 05

    Review, Acceptance & Balance

We present the outputs or completed work for review against the agreed acceptance criteria, resolve in-scope items and collect the remaining balance or milestone payment.

  6. 06

    Handover & Continued Support

We hand over deliverables, recommendations, records or repaired items and explain the next steps. Follow-up consulting, project support or managed services can continue under a separate agreement.

The proposal confirms whether fees are hourly, fixed-scope, milestone-based or monthly, as well as deposits, expenses, revision limits, deliverables and acceptance criteria.

Indicative Pricing

Plan Your Professional Services Budget

These ranges help with early planning. Your written quotation will confirm the exact scope, deliverables, assumptions and price before work begins.

Consultation or Advisory Session

R750 - R1,500 per hour

Focused technology, operational, project or digital guidance. Larger assessments and written recommendations are quoted as a defined engagement.

Project Planning & Management

R8,000 - R45,000+

Fixed-scope or monthly support depending on project duration, complexity, stakeholders, reporting and level of delivery ownership.

Electrical or Electronics Assessment

R50 - R750

Initial assessment for suitable non-healthcare appliances or electronic devices. Pricing depends on the equipment type and diagnostic work required; collection, travel and specialist testing may be additional.

Electrical or Electronics Repair

R50 - R5,000+

Indicative labour range based on equipment type, fault and complexity. Components, replacement parts and external specialist work are quoted separately.

Important: Side-project pricing depends on feasibility, safety, condition, parts availability and the work required. Custom websites and applications for non-healthcare customers follow the technology ranges above and remain fully custom-built rather than template-based. All amounts are indicative South African rand ranges and may change when requirements are confirmed.
